1) Be calm , cool and collected! Do not get upset at what is happening around you. If
you get upset, you may not be able to survive. Make sure the people you are with understand that a person, and
perhaps that person is you, will, with their help, assist and help them (and yourself) to survive. Panic
does nothing but incurs more panic. Be aware of where you are and the ground situation. Don't
worry, just be calm, but deliberate in what you do.
2)
Be prepared to go without power and fresh food and water for sometime because of damage to
water systems (earthquakes), perhaps a week or more. The Y2K presents a major problem. Otherwise, lay in a supply of water and food including non-electrical stoves and fuel. Be prepared to operate things on a manual
basis for sometime. Be prepared that all power everywhere will be out - that means the bank, grocery store, gas station, etc., everything!
THIS IS SERIOUS!. If you can, put up a wind power machine for your home driven by the wind. Most of these are very compact and can
be easily assembled and installed. These will provide power to batteries. With an adequate grouping of batteries, you will be able to eventually
operate "off grid", as many homes are now doing without depending upon the local power company. There are kits available. Karinya can provide
sources for this and other items.
3)
You will need to have replacement parts for the alternators in your cars,
and other parts based on the fact that all electrical in vehicles may and will probably be out of operation. In fact,
everything electrical everywhere will be out of operation. How long? No one knows at this point. could be for as short as
three days or longer. The idea here is to have backup equipment available, that will be sitting idly by, not turned on,
therefore not susceptible to power failures. Reading the Matrix reports will give you an idea
of the type of failures that can be expected.
4)
If you are stranded somewhere, not close to your home, and this could be anywhere, be
prepared to wait out rescue or walk or bike (if you have or can get a hold of a bike) to your home. In this
situation it is good to have emergency supplies including stove, fuel, and food, water in a bag in the vehicle at all
times.
5)
Weather may be bad or difficult. Make sure you have plenty of warm clothing and wet
gear available with you - put in a bag with the food, stoves, etc. Seek shelter if storms are raging.
6)
Pray and have faith - you will survive!
