IRIDOLOGY is the practice of viewing the status of the
human body through the eyes. The iris of the eye is analyzed as to its
color and structure. Iridology was established in the late nineteenth
century in Hungary, and is now being studied in many countries of the
world. Russian officials announced that it is being taught in medically
oriented institutions, and the Chinese recently translated modern
iridology textbooks into their language. Iris analysis is in growing use
throughout most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, South America,
Asia, and the U.S. The eye is more than just "the window of the soul", and
has, through Iridology, been able to give people the ability to gain
accurate information, many times before symptoms appear, regarding
condition of the body.
This
approach is a diagnostic tool used by iridolists to determine the
patient's health, possibly even underlying tendencies toward inherited
dis-ease and future health problems. Dr. Bernard Jensen introduced this to
the U.S. |

The
following Map (shown on the left) shows details of what the iridolist
sees in the eyes (in laymans terms) showing the areas of the body
which can be seen in the eyes. These maps are fully copyrighted by the
author Michael J McCammon N.D. a Naturopathic Physician with over 20
years experience.
Quote from Michael McCammon about his
background and his development of the maps in particular:
"This
Iridology map was created over many years during my clinical practice.
Dr Jensen was my main inspiration and he encouraged me over the years
to develop my practice according to simple Natural principles and
especially the Science and practice of Iridology.
My map is
designed to be as simple as possible - nothing like the complex German
maps and is not intended to be complete. To me I organized it to
eliminate as much as possible of the areas I felt either didn't make
sense or confused the issues. For a science to be authentic it must be
in accordance with a scientific method i.e. hypothesis experimentation
proving and repeating the results time after time after time.
The areas of my diagram are the areas I have personally
observed as accurate in my 25 year practice and over 25,000 Iris
readings. Only the main organ, glands and bones are shown and no
attempt is made to add extra detail. This map is ideal for the
beginning student of Iridology and also for the patient who with
guidance from the practitioner can readily understand the connection
of the iris to the body. |

As a
practitioner I find this map invaluble as a teaching aid to demonstrate
Naturopathic principles and to show the connections or reflex of one area
of the body to another. For example the connection of the bowel to a host
of health problems. For a system to work it must make sense. The iridology
map shows the digestive system at the centre or the "hub of the wheel" the
organs glands etc the "Spokes" and the lymph, blood vessels and skin the
"rim" of the wheel. All organs are dependant of a healthy digestive system
and the delivery of healthy blood travels the circumference in the map to
be delivered to all the tissues of the body. The iris map displays a three
dimensional body on a two dimensional surface so of course there are
overlaps that the practitioner needs to be mindful of."

It has been proven in practice by Michael (and others) the maps
add considerably to the patient understanding what is taking place. We all
know an understanding is part of the success of any accomplishment. Please
complete the form below and Michael will be pleased to send you one. If
you wish a copy of the Map (which we think every serious Iridologist
should have as a tool).
Cost: $US150.00 each.
