Dr. Weiss is the first naturopathic physician to perform a residency in a conventional medical facility. The Arizona Heart Institute provided Dr. Weiss the opportunity to merge the best of surgical and prescriptive care, with the traditions of naturropathic medicine. Dr. Weiss travels around the world training physicians and pharmacists on safer ways to use fewer prescriptions andd give more vitality to their patients with natural medicines. He honors both conventional andnaturopathic roots by maintaining his hospital privileges at the Arizona Heart Hospital, and teaching at his alma mater, the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine where he is an Asssociate Professor of Medicine. Dr.Weiss holds positions on several scientific and research advisory boards and will soon beccome the first naturopathic physician to receive credenials as fellow of the American Association of cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
