The color of the sky and many
other things influences our moods and behavior. Therapists believe that
color has an effect upon each of us. Therapists use this approach to
restore cells to an even level of balance and to stimulate the healing
processes. Because colors can have both a positive and negative effect,
specific colors and accurate amounts of color are critical in healing.
Colorpuncture combines the concept of color and acupuncture as a way to
clear blockages and restore healthy energy. Kirlian photographs can track improvements.
Another "sensory" healing technique is that of Light Therapy which
attempts to restore well-being and has been successful in treating the depression known
as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
You might be interested in the following that is in answer to several questions by a viewer by the
Ascended Master Maha Chohan. (You may not believe in spirit, but the answers given here, we think,
could be of interest to those interested in color therapy):
Question 1) In a children's hospital do you think a colour filled environment is
necessary? why or why not?
Answer: I am happy to answer your request madam, for color is the next phase of
high vibrational healing. Children are able to be highly sensitized to the
healing properties of color, especially at this time of raised vibration.
the way of viewing color is now old and non-functional. The interior design
schools are very behind what the human is in need of.
The persons, whether adult, child or animal, senses color on many levels.
in fact, the bodies intelligence percieves color on multi dimentions my
dear. It is not about making a room pretty. It sets a vibrational tone (sound)
that affects the sensory system of a human form. There have been
many human studies on the psychology of color and how it affects the mind.
This is not entirely correct. It affects all of the bodies sensors on
different body levels, causal body, astral body and the physical body.
The physical body sends out feelers to experience the sensation. The color
is just energy. Energy is taken in in various methods and intention can
play a part of this process. Ancient studies knew this. Because humans are
always seeking for gratification outside of themselves, they see color as a
form of unimportant decoration to match a theme.
In fact that theme they are so attached to is a past or future life they
already experienced. People that are partial to oriental, ethnic items or
any culture, and their colorations, recall through sensory perception, that
feeling of before.
Color is a fascinating area to concentrate on my dear. It is in fact going
to be the next way you will heal. Light is also part of that process. It is
possible to heal people by them bathing in a color, whether it is a room or
clothes. On a very deep level of dna, it affects the chromosones and
cellular complement. I am sorry you will not find this in books yet. Many
are starting to become awakened to what color will do.
Question 2) Every colour is said to have a specific emotional effect on people. If a
children's ward or room is painted a specific color scheme, which is chosen
to have a therapeutic effect on the patients, how effectively do you think
it would work? (e.g., If a sick child who's continually in
pain, spent most of their time in a dominantly blue room, which is by some
therapists said to have a 'soothing and calming effect')
Question3) Do you think in general everybody reacts the same to colours? Or do you
think it depends on the individual, considering things such as culture,
mental state etc?
Answer:Reaction to color of an individual basis depends on how clear a vibration
they are operating at. Reaction is quite subliminal on an unconscious
level. I suggest you experiemnt with color and test people's reactions.
