A turn-around in medicine
has
been occurring over the last 25 or more years - and that is: People are
taking a stance when it comes to their own bodies and investigating holistic
forms of healing, many proven over hundreds of years and still prevalent in Europe and throughout many parts
of the world. Most are not taking at face value the advice of western Medical Doctors, but are seeking additional
and other opinions about their health.
The use of holistic care in the United States has
grown in recent years. A recent study by Stanford University showed that 69 percent of respondents said they
had used such therapies (chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, herbal and vitamin therapy) in the past year, up
from 34 percent in a separate 1990 study. The use of organic food rather than the processed foods with their often
questionable ingredients has taken a substantial jump in the last years. And the many toxins found in the home
today makes the home the most toxic place.
Plus, according to many verified studies and reports the
hospital and physicians are the cause of more deaths than autos and cancer. Drug companies and their offerings
are also, we believe, to blame for many deaths and medical complications - drugs that are not needed when
holistics which are more acceptable by the body will do just fine. You too can take responsibility for your
own health rather than trusting it to a physician who may not really have his patients' health as his focus.
